Broadcast Flag: Court Asks for Facts on Standing
Susan Crawford has the latest news on the broadcast flag: the court hearing the challenge on the Federal Communications Commission's alleged jurisdiction to implement the broadcast flag rule has given the petitioners (Public Knowledge, the EFF, the American Library Association) two weeks to "provide statements of facts showing special harms caused by the broadcast flag rule" so that the petitioners may be heard by the court (have "standing").
Read Crawford's post in which she explains why this is good news (for the petitioners). She has a link to the court's opinion.
