Grolsch Brings Non-Compatible Bottleneck-Can Gadget
Just in time for Queens day Dutch beer brewer Grolsch has come with, as it claims, the first "blikbeugel". This little bottleneck can be locked to a can to increase the drinking experience. Initial tests have show that the "blikbeugel" is not compatible with cans of competitor Heineken. Time for some "reverse-engineering" then. Or would that bring DMCA-like issues? (Obviously trying to squeeze in some legal aspects here.)

I have a plastic version of something like this I picked up at a dollar store about a decade ago. Mine is green and has a body basically the same as a bottle but the cap is like a plastic winebottle cap.
It's an old idea that didn't work out in the past.
Wow, the thing dennisSYNd posted has a frightening resemblance to a buttplug...
wow, anonymous has a disturbing familiarity with buttplugs
... why I'd point that out myself, I don't know.
Drunk Hamsters?
prepare to be farked
Hmm, fine invention, but not a new idea.
Why would you want to buy that? The beer would get all foamed up in there. They expect to make a profit with this? And what kind of buttplug would it be? What IS a buttplug, anyway? Why would you want one? And where the hell am I?
Rick, your next excercise in How To Get More Comments At My Blog 1.01 is: "Write something about football."
Butt plugs? I don't need no stinkin Butt plugs!
I like the part about "no more can taste" in the ebay ad. I wonder how they did that!
At Branko, yeh I finally found my target group. Already did football. Next up, seemingly: the patentability of sexual devices.
nice gadget. But as commented by patrick, a similar device existed a decade ago. I wonder why it did't took off. It seems like a neat gadget to me. Probably it needs a little bit more marketing exposure.
